CORE provides free and seamless access to millions of research articles aggregated from thousands of Open Access data providers, such as repositories and journals. It provides access to 24,936,921 free to read full text research papers with 14,350,388 full texts hosted directly by CORE.

DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals)

DOAJ is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals on multiple subject areas.

OATD.ORG (Open Access Theses and Dissertations)

​

OATD.org publishes indexes to open access graduate theses and dissertations published around the world. Metadata (information about the theses) comes from over 1100 colleges, universities, and research institutions. OATD currently indexes 5,093,236 theses and dissertations.

BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine)

BASE is one of the world's most voluminous search engines especially for academic web resources. BASE provides more than 150 million documents from more than 7,000 sources. You can access the full texts of about 60% of the indexed documents for free (Open Access). BASE is operated by Bielefeld University Library.
